Since 1991 the TU Dortmund organizes the Campus Festival once a year, an open day where the university presents itself to all people interested.
Besides the science area with its numerous experiments and taster lectures, the bodily needs are also taken care of. Around the “Mensabrücke” one can enjoy food from all over the world prepared by German and foreign students from the TU Dortmund.
The Campus Festival is also known for big open air parties on the Martin-Schmeißer-Platz where successful German bands like Astrakid, Tomte, Such a Surge or Donots have performed.
